Getting Around Cowes
Cowes is a compact and walkable town, but here are useful transport options.
Southern Vectis Buses
Regular bus services connect Cowes with all major towns on the Island. Route 1 runs between Cowes and Newport frequently.
Floating Bridge
The chain ferry links East and West Cowes across the River Medina. A quick and scenic crossing for pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles.

Travelling by Train?
Southampton Central station is a short taxi or bus ride from the Red Funnel terminal. Portsmouth Harbour station is right next to the Wightlink terminal.
